The boys have been working late to get this one over the line.

This shed is a farm building that originally had the gables fully open, but the farmer has decided to rent it out, so it needed enclosing.

We got our good friends at Dmac Tanks to manufacture the gable columns, which we then installed along with timber rails before fitting 0.7mm Juniper Green Plastisol cladding.

The farmer is arranging for his own roller shutter door to be installed to suit the new tenant.

A big thanks to Ross at Tektum for getting the cladding sorted and delivered so quickly, and to Dale and the boys at F.A.M.C for the fast turnaround on bending our flashings.

Without good suppliers and reliable people around us, we’d definitely have a few more stumbling blocks along the way.

Great effort from everyone involved to get this one wrapped up.

2 jobs the boys got started on in the middle of last week!

Job 1

This cattle shed is 30m x 14m and is getting a lovely Juniper Green fibre cement roof (roof sheets only). There are 3 walls clad, with 1 side left open for feeding, and each wall has 0.7 vented cladding fitted.

The boys will be back on this one tomorrow. Almost forgot to post it!

This is a labour-only job for our good friend Gav at G.A. McCombe. Thanks again for the continuous work for the boys, mate – it’s much appreciated.

Job 2

Managed to get a few photos while the lad stripping the scaffolding was on his lunch break.

This local job, not far from home, is a roof-only project for a lovely gentleman. We’re stripping off the old wriggly tin and replacing it with Juniper Green 0.7 Plastisol cladding.

We’re also fitting 170mm half-round deep-flow guttering to cope with the volume of water coming off the roof.

The farmer has asked the boys to do a bit extra too – removing the old guttering from his house and replacing it with smart new anthracite half-round guttering.

🚨🚨 job update 🚨🚨

The boys started stripping this one on Wednesday morning in Perth, and what a few days they’ve had.

The old single-skin asbestos roof and wall cladding are all off, and today they got the purlins and rafters down as well. Now we’re just waiting on big Colin to burn the posts on Monday before the new build starts going up.

The building will be re-erected and fully clad with new single-skin sheeting all round, with anti-condensation on the roof.

It’s been a wee while since we’ve done work for our good friends at Scot Steel, but it feels like we’ve never been away. Always a pleasure working for Jock, Jack, Andrew, and the always helpful Fiona.

* 120mm composite panel on the roof
* 100mm composite panel on the office walls
* 7 plastisol on the remaining roof and wall areas

When we’re quiet on social media, it usually means the team are hard at it

The boys are smashing it on this one — and even better, it’s a job closer to home

We’re currently working in Cupar alongside our good friends at tanks on a new agricultural build. The office area is finished with 80mm composite panels all round, while the workshop is clad in 0.7 single skin sheeting.

Always a good day when Davie gets us involved in these projects

Perth overclad job over the line

A massive well done to Robbie Johnstone and the team for getting this overcladding project completed. The customer, Craig at Auto Garden Machinery pictured here with morgan and is absolutely delighted with the finished result and rightly so.

The lads overclad the old, tired asbestos roof using 3x2 treated timber and 80mm insulation. They also replaced all the old Big 6 rooflights, bringing natural light back into the building.

Big shout-out to Ross at Tektum Supplies for providing all fixings,

and to Johnson Rigging Fife for supplying the crane and driver, helping lift the roof sheets directly onto the roof and saving a huge amount of manual handling.

Last but not least, thanks to Dale Robertson at FAMC Glenrothes for bending all our materials and turning the flashings around quickly helping us get this one over the line.

Thanks again for the continued support, and well done to the installation team. Keep up the great work

Another job completed in Leslie by Krissy Cochrane

This roof was overclad over the existing asbestos using Zeds, with 80mm insulation and new single skin sheets installed, along with Weatherfast gutters to finish it off.

The customer is delighted with the outcome which is always great to hear

Just a couple of small extras to complete on another section of roof and this one will be ready to hand back over.
