We've finally completed the renovation of the kitchen on this amazing mansion near Machynlleth.
We used almost 8 tons of traditional lime plaster to try and make these walls straight and level for the kitchen install.
The kitchen was designed, manufactured and installed by SION JONES KITCHENS. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. I can't recommend Sion and his team high enough.

We've finally got all the lime base coat completed on this kitchen renovation that we're working on, 6.5 tons of traditional lime plaster. We've also managed to get the ceilings plastered today using modern multi finish plaster over plasterboard. Full steam ahead for the rest of the week applying a traditional lime finish .

We've had a busy one this week. We've got all the dubbing out and 1st scratch coats done on this kitchen renovation. 3 tons of traditional lime render used up to now. Another 2 tons on order to hopefully get it up to be ready for the finish coat.

We've been a bit quiet on here lately due to being so busy and fighting the weather.
We've started the renovation of this kitchen in Machynlleth. We've taken 3 layers of ceilings and walls out. Amazing to see the change in trends over the years, from modern plasterboard, 80's tongue and groove to the original lime plaster.

We've had a bit of a change of scenery over the last week or so. We've rebuilt this garden wall after it had collapsed due water and root damage.
The weather hasn't been on our side, but at least we got to play with big boy toys!

A couple of jobs we've ticked off, on the run up to Christmas. We replaced an old lathe and plaster ceiling, installing 300mm of insulation, replaced the old laths with woodwool board then plastered using 3 coats of traditional lime plaster. We've laid these lime stone tiles over a lime screed floor, using a traditional lime bed and pointed up with a traditional lime mortar.

A holiday chalet that we've just completed over the last couple of days, certainly a challenge with -3 temperatures outside.
