This looks amazing - well done everyone 😊

Something exciting is happening at Parc LΓ΄n Las β€” and it’s all about creating a vibrant activity hub for our community.

The refurbished MUGA is already bringing people together, with football goals, marked courts for football, four pickleball courts, and a tennis court. The tennis net will be set up later this week, ready for free community use.

But the centrepiece of the new project is something truly special:

🀩A huge community mural beneath a brand‑new basketball court!πŸ€

This currently underused tarmac space will be transformed into a bright, modern, energetic canvas that reflects the creativity and identity of Llangefni. The basketball hoops β€” generously provided by Basketball Wales β€” will be arriving soon, helping us build a space that inspires movement, connection, and pride.

Our inspiration comes from the incredible SCAD SERVE POP initiative, where community murals and sport come together to create places full of colour, energy, and belonging. You can see some ideas here: https://shortyawards.com/9th-impact/scad-serve-paint-our-parks

Change of scenery today from the Dog World!

Some of our SIA Staff are also qualified First Responders, meaning not also can they ensure the safety and protection of your assets and customers, they are also ready to be the first to deal with any medical emergency and supply their own medical equipment.

First aid covers everyday workplace injuries like minor cuts and burns.

FREC 3 (First Response Emergency Care Level 3) is a pre-hospital qualification. It covers trauma, airway management, and catastrophic bleeding.

FREC 3 is the standard for event medics, security staff, and aspiring paramedics.The main differences are depth and clinical skill

Basic First Aid: Focuses on standard workplace safety, minor wounds, and simple CPR. It teaches you how to keep someone safe while waiting for an ambulance.

FREC 3: Focuses on emergency care. You learn to use oxygen, manage airways, apply tourniquets for severe bleeding, and stabilize spines. It prepares you to work in high-risk environments or as an emergency responder.
