How lucky are we to have a huge Bumble Bee nest this year! Usually they are further down the garden but this year decided to nest in the wood shed before we could clear it out, slightly inconvenient with dogs 🫣 as there really are loads of bees and they are massive!!

In an attempt to encourage the bees to enter and exit higher up (out of dogs reach) Rob erected a quick screen before work this morning. Well the bees all came out to check exactly what he was doing 😅 think it did make his bum twitch a bit 😆 but these big fluffy bees have not been aggressive at all in the many weeks they've been here.

It's a privilege to watch wildlife up close and personal.

I made a promise 2 yrs ago with the lady from I would propagate a rare Begonia she had sold to me and wished she hadn't afterwards. On Sunday I fulfilled the promise and presented her with 2 healthy plants at a plant fair, we did swaps, this is how I get replayed 😀 The camera doesn't do it any justice 😀👍

Isn't it fabulous to have long days and sunshine at last ☀️😎 a trip to Malvern at the weekend was great seeing the trees out in leaf as well as all the hedgerows nicely greened up now, the windscreen was absolutely plastered with insects, something that hasn't happened in a good few years!

Lovely day out in the sunshine with Hefin showing as a veteran (can't believe he's 8 years old 🤯) to meet up with the dog family.

A few years ago my favourite tree was downed by a big storm and broke my heart. However, much to my delight growth regenerated from the trunk and right now it's flowering 🥰 Its the most spectacular sight! I know the flowers will be only here for a short time then replaced by large leaves that are equally as stunning for the rest of the year 😊

Such a privilege to share the garden with so much wildlife. Plenty for them to eat here and feed their young. We don't feed the birds, but do provide lots of habitat for them to forage
