Why clear the guttering now?
Well a lot of the time they block up and seedlings will grow fast thus time of year.
So clearing now is a good idea.

Back to school, well the children return back to school. the summer has been a busy period for us. We are now entering the gutter cleaning season and the rain has come.

It’s Sunday. Like most Sundays I’m looking at the week ahead and organising jobs.
Once I’ve done that I’m going to price up some work for a few schools, I still hope to watch a bit of today’s football.

Had a good day today.
Met with another exterior cleaning company.
We shared a few hours of chat whilst both doing some work.
He let me use a blower to. Clear some debris and save me time in a job.
So whilst one of my staff had nothing to do I asked him to help the other company out a bit.
Anyway I’ve now got a person who I can pass on some job to as they aren’t really what we do.
In return he has offered us some jobs we do.
It was good to see another company who is akin to our way of work together not apart.
He also gave me a turbo nozzle he didn’t use which really helped today. My high volume one wasn’t running from my machine.
Guess it need and overhaul.
Hands shake made.

We must alway face a bad review here and there, I’ve just received a 1 star review as I was rude to a person who had booked me to do her guttering.
Sadly it was an open invitation as I hadn’t told her I was coming I suppose. It was a customer who previously jumped ship on a regular window clean a few years ago, having received a call last year I returned to clean again for her.
I told her I could do her windows when I was around but was only 2 monthly and even then if other things crop up I go when I can. So a lot has come about this year.
So we tackle big jobs and lose time I can’t get back. Sadly smaller jobs don’t pay the wages anymore. My fault I guess as I employ staff.
I deserve the 1 star review as I turned up 16 miles round trip to do the job she asked me to do. However she had got someone to do it the day before, I knew this because( no idea) anyway I said am I to just do windows then? No they did them. So I said you can use them in the future as I’m not coming back again. Apparently that’s rude.
Forget the time wasting she did.
2 staff in tow. That cost me over £50 to not do the job she asked me to do.
Anyway a review is a review I guess.
I own up to dedicating myself to my regular customers and most fully understand why I can’t always get there and that I should take a break.
I had my first holiday abroad since 1983! Yep that’s a long time.
Anyway we helped clean at a hospital and the national botanical gardens of wales inside.
So forgive me for being a few weeks late. There will always be a person who feels you let them down and there are those who let you know in advance they need. It done sooner!!
Nearly all customers welcome only the 3rd person I will not help again.
