What started as a sinkhole had the potential to become a much bigger problem. After excavating the affected area, we removed the failed material, rebuilt the foundation with the correct specification, compacted in layers, and reinstated the surfacing to leave the driveway safe, solid and looking as it should.

It’s always satisfying seeing a job go from a major defect to a seamless repair. 👌

Driveway transformation from start to finish 👌

The existing concrete was broken out and removed before the area was excavated, prepared and compacted with a new sub-base. We then installed new kerb edging along the roadside and completed the driveway with a smooth tarmac finish.

Access was tight, but with the right machinery and planning, the team delivered a clean, durable result that has completely refreshed the property.

This handcrafted natural-stone wall is really starting to take shape. Carefully selected stone, solid blockwork and plenty of skilled craftsmanship.

Freshly completed driveway transformation ✅

A clean, practical finish that makes a huge difference to the front of this property. New extended crossing kerbs, new drainage channels to stop all the standing water against the house and a smooth tarmac surface have completely transformed the space into a smart, low-maintenance driveway.

🚧 Llanfair Caereinion Sinkhole Repair Update 🚧

Great progress on site this week.

The new drainage is now installed, and our team is currently building the tarmac back up as the road reinstatement works continue.

Monday is expected to be the final day on site, with only the surface course left to lay.
