Hiya folks!

Norwegian Wood are looking for a new home in NW Wales, preferably in the Dyfi valley area. It can be a barn, or a corner of a field that can take a temporary structure

Initially we are looking for somewhere for the period july through october 2023 as a trial period. In the long run there is potential for establishing a business that can employ local carpenters to produce small log cabins on spec for a local sauna company.

We also provide training for both carpenters and self builders to learn traditional Norwegian log building and timber framing methods (grindbygg).

If you know of anywhere that might fit the bill or have a space yourself, please get in touch via email on [email protected]

Love and logs,
Rich

Last place on the September course still available. See previous post, offered to someone on low-wage or otherwise considering themselves as under-represented in the world of timber framing. Camping included in the price as an extra morsel of incentive.

Hi folks. There are two spaces left on the september log building course 12-18th september and we are offering both places for £350 each to anyone identifying as womxn or non-binary or q***r or activists in any field. The only thing we ask in return is some prior experience in woodwork, from tree felling to spoon carving and anything in between. It's an intermediate level course and will therefore suit someone who has previous experience working with any kind of woodworking tools.
Cheers,
Rich x
