Keep your HOB clean! 😉 🧼 yes I said HOB!

Nearly had to disconnect this tenant’s hob due to poor flame picture. Hard to tell from that photo, but there was more yellow than blue. Not good!
This was due to the injector port being completely full of food debris. The burner crown was completely blocked as was the injector itself other than a tiny hole.

After stripping it down, clearing the debris and unblocking the injector the flame picture was almost perfect.

Remember to remove those removable parts and keep them sparkly clean and you’ll have no issues 😀

They don’t make them like they used to!

Vokera gets a bad rep regardless of the age of boiler. But I get less issues with Vokera than I do the big brands. But regardless of make and model, this older standard efficiency boiler is flawless and genuinely looks and works like the day it was installed. Beautiful blue flame!

Every component was made to last. So just because you have an old boiler, don’t let someone convince you that you MUST replaced it for a modern condensing boiler. This boiler will outlast your new boiler and then some.
