On this install, border edge insulation has been fitted around every wall before screed goes down. It might look like a small detail, but it plays a big role in system performance.
It allows for screed expansion, reduces heat loss into the walls, and helps keep everything structurally sound once the system is up and running.
For flowing screeds, using overlap edge insulation also helps stop any material slipping behind the strip and down the wall line.
