35 Years of Service – Happy Retirement, Jim! 👏
Today marks the end of an era at Richmack as Jim Abbott retires after an incredible 35 years with the business.
Jim joined us back in 1991, and it’s difficult to put into words just how much he has contributed to Richmack over those years.
People often say nobody is irreplaceable, but anyone who has had the pleasure of working alongside Jim will know that, in his case, that simply isn’t true.
A man who can turn his hand to just about anything, Jim’s incredible work ethic, knowledge and attitude have been a huge part of Richmack’s journey. Nothing has ever been too much hassle, and the relationships he has built with our clients, colleagues and suppliers over the years are testament not only to his work, but to his character and the respect people have for him.
Jim hasn’t just worked for Richmack — he has helped build the business into what it is today.
Thirty-five years of early starts, hard graft, problem solving and getting the job done properly. But just as importantly, Jim has been a great character to have around the business and someone we have been incredibly fortunate to have as part of the Richmack team for so long.
We know there will be plenty of people who have dealt with Richmack over the years who have had the pleasure of working with Jim. We’d love you to join us in thanking him for everything he has done and wishing him a long, happy and thoroughly well-earned retirement.
