A staircase that makes a statement! 🖤

This bespoke open-plan staircase was designed to be the feature of the hallway while allowing as much natural light as possible.

Made from American White Ash, with a black finish, free-standing glass and a continuous handrail, it creates a sleek, modern look. The natural timber stub risers and LED lighting add warmth and a beautiful contrast against the black staircase.

A perfect combination of craftsmanship, light and design.

For 42 years, we’ve proudly operated out of our manufacturing facility in Bootle — but the building’s story began long before us.

Originally built by the Cunard Company before WWI, the site was designed as a washhouse for bedding and fabrics from the ferries arriving at the terminal opposite the factory. During the war, it was transformed into a mu*****ns factory and became one of the first facilities of its kind to be fully staffed by women.

Historic photographs still exist today, capturing the people, the machinery, and the remarkable history within these walls.

After the war and the decline in ferry traffic, the building was divided into separate units and occupied by a range of businesses over the years. We moved here in 1982, starting out in a single unit. As the company has grown, so have we — now operating across three of the six units, with the neighbouring land converted into our car park.

We’re proud to be part of this building’s history and hope to continue growing while preserving the heritage and character that make it so special.
