While the customers were away enjoying their holiday, we were busy getting their utility and toilet area back in shape 👷‍♂️

This Aigburth property had been affected by rising damp, so we carried out the full job from strip-out through to reinstatement.

The units and appliances were carefully removed, the walls were taken back to brick and a new damp-proof course and membrane were installed. Once the treatment was complete, everything was re-boarded, re-plastered and put back into place.

also completed the joinery work, before we finished things off with a full sparkle clean ✨

By the time the customers got home, the work was complete and the space was clean, tidy and ready to use again.

What a difference in this one 👏🏼

A closer look at the main living space from our recent Tarbock Green project.

The property was stripped right back so the damp issues could be properly treated before everything was reinstated, plastered and finished.

Air bricks play an important role in helping air circulate beneath suspended timber floors, but they can easily become blocked by soil, leaves, debris or raised ground levels.

When airflow is restricted, moisture can build up beneath the property, creating conditions that can contribute to damp and timber decay.

From unused cupboard to a much more practical space 👏

Another under-stairs transformation completed in Liscard, Wallasey 📍

We removed the old cupboard and opened everything up, before damp proofing the walls, installing new timber framework and adding two spotlights to completely transform the space.

The best part? This is the second under-stairs transformation we’ve completed on the same street after the neighbour was so happy with theirs that they recommended us next door 🙌

Sometimes, the first signs are much easier to miss.

👃 A persistent musty smell

A full transformation on this property, tackling the damp properly before bringing the rest of the house back to life.

We took the affected walls right back to brick, installed a new injected damp-proof course and fitted a damp-proof membrane before rebuilding and replastering for a clean, solid finish.

The bathroom also had a complete overhaul. By removing the old hot water cupboard, we were able to create a much bigger, more practical space, finished with wall panelling and a brand-new bathroom suite selected to work within the client’s budget.
