Seems to be a hight thing going on this week..
after a holiday that went really quick as always we find ourselves tearing down an old ceiling ( built to last with wood fibre tiles nice and sturdy) from the 70’s on a Sunday .. making ready for an upgrade to Rockfon grid and tropic tiles.
A few electrical installations and we should be good to go 👆 and a little take back and tear down .. again fairly high up to be repaired and sorted this week.. and to top up some tile changes here and there under more reasonable ladder hight..
looking back a week and it seems like there never was a holiday squeezed in there 😎
And of course a bit of paint on some glass fibre moulding more a hobby..

This week we managed to finish off the school run before the students are back in after the holiday. We were back in Chaigeley school in Warrington were we have a go at every school holiday and an ongoing new project at a primary school in Liverpool for a new client.
A bit of repair work and some change of tiles mixed in with a few rooms with new Rockfon Tropic tiles.
It has been a very busy summer addition to our volunteering on going house project that’s sort of getting to the end, and a holiday is coming up before we do it all over again 😎

As we speak the rain is coming down.. probably needed 😎 another great run as we just finished 350 ish m2 in Kirby high school thanks to Ocian for taking out and cleaning up after the old tiles and grid went out making it possible for me to start getting the new up 4 days and 2 hours and a new rockfon Chicago grid and Rockfon Tropic tiles are all ready for plumbers and electricians.

As summer school holidays is coming to en we got 2 more schools to finish before the students are back.. it’s been very busy this holiday 🙏

I realise we have become a little lazy posting in here. It’s been a very busy summer besides a major refurbishment on our property that has taken a big part of our time in volunteering work.
We also run quite a few schools during the summer holidays, and with two major schools left before holidays end.
Thankfully our friends at Spiral Interior Systems and Mark and Osian have been able to lend a hand to get us pushed through this summer.
Although we haven’t fully reached our goal yet 😎 we are getting very close and a big thanks to all involved helping us this hot summer…
Not to forget a little van breakdown in Leeds to add to the stress 🤦‍♂️

Much appreciated Dan 👍🏻😎 as usual a wonderful job. Spot on and looking fantastic..
As we are in Leeds running up ceilings it’s a comfort to know it’s in good hands.
In Leeds we are ow waiting for a recovery truck and a trip to the garage.. thankfully Uber gets us around a few days 😎

A big thank you 🙏 to my good friend and colleague Dan Spiral interior Systems Ltd for coming along with us this week. We got up over 300 m2 of Suspended ceilings in mainly corridors 👆 at various schools in and around Liverpool area 😎
We even managed to get one up in Leeds..

We successfully managed to complete the work in 3 days during the May half term.
Hard work and dedication delivering on time as always 👆

Dan and myself have dedicated ourselves and teamed up on multiple projects over the years.
And it’s always a pleasure to work alongside and get the job done ✔️😊

We have used our trusted Rockfon ceiling grid system with Rockfon Tropic tiles to complete yet another good run.

My good friend Dan , and our close partners on many larger scale projects deserve some recognition for doing an amazing job on calculating some very interesting projects.
He has put some incredible effort into the work that goes silently in the background.
Very proud to be a colleague and friend.
Great work Dan.
Spiral Interior Systems is our go to for all projects requiring high quality partition systems.

It’s been a busy old week at Spiral.

Over £360,000 worth of quotations sent out over the last 7 days; everything from small ceiling works right through to large commercial packages.

Will I win all that work? Absolutely not!
Will some of it disappear into the void without a reply? Probably! 😄

Most people only ever see the bit where the tools come out, but there’s a huge amount of time behind the scenes pricing work properly, going through drawings, checking specifications, speaking to suppliers, writing scopes, sorting programmes, and trying to make sure nothing gets missed.

Win or lose, every quote goes out with the same care and attention.

Now I’m going to stop looking at spreadsheets for a few hours before my eyes start to bleed. 😄
