⚡ PROJECT UPDATE

Progress continuing on site with conduit and in-screed trunking now going in, ready for the floor to be screeded and everything prepared for first fix.

A lot of the work at this stage will eventually be completely hidden, but getting this part right is key to what comes next.

Great work from Will and Jay getting everything into place and keeping the project moving 👏⚡

Damaged underground cable ⚡

We were recently contacted by a customer after an underground cable was damaged by a digger on site.

Our team attended to assess the damage and found that the existing cable had been installed too shallow, leaving it vulnerable during excavation works.

We’re now carrying out the necessary works to install the cable at a greater depth, providing better protection and helping to prevent the same issue from happening again.

Finding the problem, putting it right and making sure the solution lasts. ⚡

We’re pleased to be working at Bargate Cottage, alongside the wider project team as the development takes shape.

From first fix through to final completion, we’ll be involved throughout — and we’ll be sharing the progress along the way. ⚡ 🏘️

£1,310 raised — what a result! ❤️🚁

We started our Snowdon challenge with a target of £1,000, and thanks to the incredible support we received, we finished with an amazing £1,310 raised for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser or supported the team along the way. Seeing the total go beyond our original target made every step up Snowdon worth it! 🏔️

And of course, a massive well done to the team for taking on the challenge.

WE’RE NOW ISO 9001 CERTIFIED! 🎉

We’re proud to share that Electrical Testing UK & Installations has successfully completed Stage 2 of our ISO 9001 assessment — and we’ve passed! ✅

This is a huge milestone for ETUK and reflects our commitment to strong processes, consistent quality and continually improving the service we provide to our customers.

As we continue to grow across the industrial, commercial and hazardous area sectors, having the right systems and standards behind us is a massive part of where we’re heading.

A special mention to Tiffany Colley, who has put a huge amount of work into getting us to this point. From preparing for the assessments to making sure everything was in place behind the scenes — your hard work has definitely paid off. 👏

The cable pulling begins ⚡

Another big stage underway on one of our current industrial installations.

With the containment in place, the team have now started pulling the cables through this huge facility — and these photos give a pretty good idea of the scale we're working with!
