Open when you want the light. Closed when you don’t. ☀️

This is a great recent example of why a roof lantern blind can make such a difference in an open-plan kitchen or extension.

The first photo shows just how much natural light the lantern brings into the room.

The second shows the blind fully closed, creating a much softer environment when the sunlight becomes too strong or glare starts to become a problem.

It means you don’t have to choose between enjoying the roof lantern and controlling the room.

A good made-to-measure system simply gives you both.

We think the team have earned this one! 😂☀️

After a very hot and busy summer, we’re giving everyone at Littlehampton Blinds a proper Bank Holiday weekend to cool down, recharge and enjoy a little time off.

So, just a quick heads-up:

Now this was an interesting window to work with! 👀

Take a look at the before and after.

With angled glazing, a central door and that fantastic sea view, an off-the-shelf solution was never really going to do the window justice.

These made-to-measure shutters have been carefully designed to work with the shape of the opening, giving the homeowner much more control over privacy and sunlight while still keeping the whole installation looking clean and considered.

And when you have a view like that, you certainly don't want to hide it completely!

A clever new idea from Luxaflex® for tilt-and-turn windows

Tilt-and-turn windows are brilliant for ventilation, but they can make choosing blinds a little more complicated.

The new Luxaflex DuoMotion™ system has been developed with these windows in mind.

The blind is tensioned so it stays neatly in position when the window opens or tilts, while the operating cords are positioned along the sides rather than across the front.

But the really interesting part is the way you control it.

The top profile can be motorised with PowerView® automation, controlled using an app or remote — but if you simply want to make a quick adjustment, you can still move it by hand.

Add top-down bottom-up positioning and you have excellent control over both daylight and privacy.

Available with 25mm Duette® and 20mm Plissé shades.
