💙 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY | A Bathroom That Works for You! 🚿

Sometimes, the biggest improvement isn’t about making a bathroom bigger. It’s about making the space you already have work better for you.

And this week’s before-and-after photographs are a perfect example! 👀

Our customer had a traditional bathroom with a shower over the bath, which meant stepping over the side every time they wanted to shower.

The aim was simple: make showering easier, safer and more comfortable, without compromising on the appearance of the bathroom.

✨ So, what changed?

We removed the existing bath and transformed the space into a spacious walk-in shower, complete with a comfortable wooden shower seat, grab rail and easy-to-use thermostatic shower.

But we didn’t stop there!

The rest of the bathroom received a complete makeover, including:

🚿 A spacious walk-in shower with a practical shower curtain and half-height screen.

🪑 A stylish wooden shower seat, providing somewhere comfortable to sit while showering.

✨ Beautiful Pietra white wall panels, creating a bright, modern finish without the maintenance of traditional grout lines.

🚽 A new WC to complement the updated bathroom.

🪞 A contemporary vanity unit with integrated basin and mirrored storage cabinet.

🌿 Warm altro wood-effect flooring, bringing a lovely contrast to the grey wall panels.

💡 Fresh ceiling finishes and modern lighting to complete the transformation.

What we particularly love about this bathroom is the balance between practicality and appearance.

The shower seat, grab rail and spacious showering area provide additional comfort and support, while the marble-effect panels and wood-effect flooring give the room a modern, homely feel.

Because choosing an accessible bathroom shouldn’t mean having to compromise on style. 💙

💙 It’s not just about the finished bathroom — it’s about the experience along the way!

We’re delighted to share this lovely feedback from a customer whose mum recently had work completed by AJT Showers.

⭐ “Brandon, a very pleasant & polite workman. Very tidy and a lovely person to have working in mum’s home. Mum was impressed how hard working he was and how neat and tidy things were left overnight and at the end of the job.”

A huge well done to Brandon for taking such good care of our customer’s home! 👏

We know that having work done in your home can feel daunting, especially when adapting a bathroom for someone you care about. That’s why we believe being respectful, hardworking and keeping everything clean and tidy are just as important as the finished result.

Thank you for trusting AJT Showers and taking the time to share your experience with us. ❤️

🏡 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY! 🏡

From a double garage to a bedroom with its very own accessible wet room! 🚿✨

This week’s transformation is a fantastic example of how, with the right planning and experience, an existing space can be adapted to create something completely different!

Our customer wanted to make better use of their double garage by creating a downstairs bedroom with a fully accessible en-suite wet room, providing a practical and comfortable space for everyday living.

At AJT Showers Ltd, we love projects like this because they demonstrate that we’re capable of so much more than simply replacing a bath with a shower!

🔨 So, what did this project involve?

Starting with an empty garage space, our team carried out the work needed to create the new wet room from scratch.

✅ Constructed the timber framework to form the new room.

✅ Altered the existing soil pipe in the WC room on the opposite side of the wall to accommodate the new drainage requirements.

✅ Installed new waste connections for the comfort-height toilet, wet room floor drain and vanity unit.

✅ Ran new hot and cold water supplies to serve the bathroom.

✅ Created a spacious, accessible showering area with a level-access wet room floor.

✅ Installed a comfortable shower seat and strategically positioned grab rails for additional support.

✅ Fitted an accessible electric shower.

✅ Installed a comfort-height toilet and vanity unit with storage.

✅ Finished the room with beautiful marble-effect wall panels, slip-resistant flooring and a heated towel rail.

💙 The finished result?

A bright, modern and practical wet room that has been designed with accessibility, safety and independence in mind.

And as you can see from the photographs, an accessible bathroom doesn’t have to look clinical! With the right products and thoughtful design, it can look just as stylish as any modern bathroom while providing the additional support someone may need.

It’s projects like this that remind us why we love what we do. We’re not just installing bathrooms; we’re helping people adapt their homes to suit their needs, both now and in the future.

🚿 Transformation Thursday – Where Accessibility Meets Style 💙

Another beautiful bathroom transformation completed by the AJT Showers team! 👏

At AJT Showers, we believe that creating a safer, more accessible bathroom should never mean compromising on style.

This week’s transformation is a perfect example of how thoughtful design, carefully selected products and quality workmanship can create a bathroom that is not only practical for everyday use but also looks fantastic!

Our customer wanted to completely transform their existing bathroom into something modern, spacious and easier to use.

By removing the existing bath and completely redesigning the layout, we’ve created a stunning walk-in shower room that combines comfort, accessibility and contemporary design.

✨ TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE’VE CREATED!

🚿 Spacious walk-in shower – Replacing the traditional bath with a large, easily accessible showering area, removing the need to climb over the side of a bath.

🖤 Stunning feature wall panels – The striking dark stone-effect panels create a luxurious finish, contrasting beautifully with the lighter walls.

💧 Dual-head thermostatic shower – Featuring a rainfall showerhead and adjustable handheld shower for comfort and convenience.

🪟 Modern glass shower screen – Creating an open, spacious feel while keeping the showering area practical.

🚽 New WC and vanity unit – Beautifully coordinated with the matching dark blue storage cabinets, providing plenty of useful storage.

✨ Easy-clean wall panels and modern flooring – Giving the bathroom a fresh, contemporary appearance while keeping maintenance to a minimum.

💡 Modern finishing touches – Recessed ceiling lights, a chrome heated towel rail and carefully selected fixtures complete the transformation.

The result is a bathroom that looks fantastic while being designed around our customer’s needs, both now and in the future.

Because an accessible bathroom doesn’t have to look clinical. With the right design, it can be just as stylish as any other bathroom! 💙

🚿✨ Meet Janine!

Janine has lived in her bungalow near the river for many years, with her cat Bess by her side. But as her eyesight became poorer, getting in and out of her original, deep bath became increasingly difficult — especially as she lives on her own.

She knew she needed to make a change, and after seeing an AJT Showers open day advertised, Janine went along and entered the draw to win a FREE walk-in shower.

A couple of weeks later, she got the phone call she was hoping for — she'd won! 🎉

Her new shower was fitted in just one day, with the team leaving everything clean and tidy when they finished.

Now Janine has a powerful, easy-to-use walk-in shower that's made things much easier for her.

We're delighted to have been able to make a difference for Janine. ❤️
