Today at Flatford, our U10 United side took on Match-day Pumas for their first league game of the season.
With a reduced squad of just 7 players at the moment, both managers have been working hard over the summer to recruit, and we’re still looking to strengthen before the transfer deadline. 💚
Despite the small squad, the boys certainly played their part today, putting in a fantastic team performance on a hard surface, with the sun beating down.
👏 Charlie & Louis – brilliant in defence, working hard and keeping things organised.
🧤 Ali – growing in confidence and communicating really well in goal.
⚡️ Kobi – always trying to make things happen and create opportunities.
🏃 Evan – endless running and energy from start to finish.
💪 Harry – determination, effort and never giving up.
❤️ Kayden – battling through while feeling a little under the weather.
But today was really about the whole team. Every single player contributed, worked for each other and showed great attitude and determination. 💚
🏆 Man of the Match: THE WHOLE TEAM! 👏
A special mention too, as the opposition manager and players picked out Evan, Kobi and Harry for their performances today — great recognition from the other side. 👏⚽️
A fantastic effort boys. Keep working hard, keep believing and keep enjoying your football.
Long may it continue! 💚
