A Little Change of Scenery For One of Our Directors!🙌

One of our Directors, lewisfiler, is back in the office today after spending a couple of days in Czechia on a brand trip with Budvar, alongside Drayton Restaurant Manager, Joe, and other Hog House Co-Director, Simon Hartnett.

A little different to the usual day in the Insurance Industry, Lewis swapped his desk for a visit to the Budvar Brewery in České Budějovice, getting a behind the scenes look at the brand, its heritage and brewing process. 🍺

It’s always great to take the opportunity to learn something new, build relationships and experience something a little different outside of the day-to-day! A big thank you to the Budvar team for hosting Lewis and the Hog House team.💙💚We’re glad to have you back though, Lewis! 😅

Yesterday, Lewis and Nick attended INTRconnect Europe 2026 in Birmingham, alongside Sam, Bobby & Kristina from the Bio Restoration Team. 🤝

Another great opportunity to connect with familiar faces, meet some of our newer clients and catch up with people across the insurance industry.

It was also a chance to see some of the latest technology and developments shaping the future of Insurance Reinstatement. 💡 It’s great to see how the industry continues to evolve, with new technologies helping to improve and develop the process from start to finish.

A brilliant day of conversations, networking and looking ahead to what’s next for the industry. We’re proud to be part of it.💙💚

From Water Damage to a Fully-Restored Space. 🌟

This recent project, managed by CDM Insurance Contracts Manager, JP, involved restoring a property following a water leak.

The Works Included:
• Bathroom Refurbishment
• New Engineered Wood Flooring
• New Plastering Works
• Full Decoration Works

From the initial damage through to the finishing touches, JP managed the project to bring the space back to a fresh, finished condition. 🤝 The before and after images really show the transformation.

Another successful project completed by the CDM Insurance team, helping to restore a property and get it back to looking its best.

From Significant Impact Damage to a Property Restored to its Former Condition! 🤝

This recent Impact Damage Rebuild was managed by CDM Insurance Contracts Manager, David Dawkins, following a car colliding with the property wall and causing significant damage to both the exterior and interior of the building,

What followed was a full restoration project, with David overseeing the works and coordinating the process to bring the property back to its original form; and the transformation speaks for itself.

Another challenging project successfully turned around by the CDM Insurance team.💙

A big thank you to the guys at Alto Construction for their assistance throughout the project. Another one completed, another property restored. 👏

Today, Lewis and Lauren from the CDM Insurance team are attending the event at Convene, 133 Houndsditch, alongside Darren Southwell from Bio Response. 👏

It’s a great opportunity to stay up to date with the latest industry knowledge, look at what the future holds for the insurance restoration industry, explore the growing role of AI and connect with other professionals across the sector.

Kicking off the Year the Right Way 💼✨

This photo was taken at the January Synergy Success Network; Elite Business Club session at Old Thorns, Liphook, where John-Paul and Nick Jarvis from the CDM Insurance team were joined by Kyle Legg, Luke, Chris and Curtis from CDM Contractors.

The session focused on goal setting and putting a clear plan in place for the year ahead; aligning our teams, sharpening our focus, and setting standards we’re proud to work towards.

We’re looking forward to building on that momentum and heading back to Old Thorns this Friday for our February session. Here’s to consistency, collaboration, and another strong year ahead. 🚀
