Another update on this stunning kitchen project! 👌

The kitchen has now been installed, carrying on with the flooring, laying large-format 900 x 900 porcelain tiles throughout the living area, downstairs W/C and porch.

Finished off beautifully with Mapei 110 Manhattan grout, creating a clean, modern finish that ties everything together perfectly. 🤍

All works to be completed this week, so keep an eye out for a full walkthrough video to show the finished project!

🔥 Chimney Breast Transformation 🔥
A great transformation for a lovely couple!
Removed the existing stone hearth and rendered over the original brick chimney breast, before creating a completely new look using London brick slips across the chimney breast and surrounding walls.
The new hearth was made using 20mm wood-effect porcelain tiles, incorporating a bullnose edge for a smooth and seamless finish.
Finished off with brown mortar pointing, bringing the whole look together and giving this feature fireplace a warm, timeless appearance. 👌🏼

Balcony transformation completed for a lovely customer.
The existing balcony was suffering from water ingress, so I stripped it back and carried out the necessary preparation before waterproofing the area.
🔹 Removed the old patio slabs
🔹 Fully waterproofed the balcony
🔹 Installed new waterproof trays over the cavity wall
🔹 Installed tie bars where existing cracks were identified
🔹 Laid new 900 × 600mm, 20mm-thick porcelain tiles
🔹 Finished with a 300mm-wide border using 150 × 900mm porcelain tiles
🔹 Adjusted the top two treads of the spiral staircase to accommodate the new finished floor height

A complete overhaul designed to provide a durable, watertight and high-quality finish to the balcony. 👌
