🔐 Sunday Evening Call-Out – Loughborough

Another job completed by LockFit Lincoln — this time at Costa Coffee in Loughborough on a Sunday evening.

Although Loughborough isn’t normally within our standard coverage area, we were happy to help when we were needed.

☕ The team at Costa needed assistance with their door, after a break in, that left them with the main door lock damaged and unable to secure the property. We attended out of hours to get the issue resolved and help minimise disruption to the business.

We had a call-out in Sleaford where a customer was locking their door but it wasn’t working.

Once on site we identified a failed riveted multipoint locking mechanism that can’t usually be repaired because the internal gearbox is permanently riveted together by the manufacturer. Once it fails, the only safe and reliable solution is a complete replacement with a brand-new mechanism that we fitted on the first visit.

✅ New multipoint mechanism supplied and fitted
✅ Smooth locking and operation restored
✅ Door fully secure again
✅ 12 months warranty on the replacement mechanism

Couple of different jobs completed this week, from failed UPVC/Composite door mechanism, windows handles replacement, mortice deadlock and sash lock fitted, to safe opening, where the batteries were dead and customers couldn’t get them open.
