🔧 ANOTHER SERVICE COMPLETED – OLD BUT GOLD! 🔧

Now here’s a piece of security history! 👀

This Scantronic intruder alarm system dates all the way back to 1987, making it almost 40 years old!

Even more remarkable, our director, Rick, originally installed this very system around 40 years ago. Scantronic equipment was where Rick first cut his teeth in the security industry, developing the knowledge and experience that helped shape his career in alarm systems.

Fast forward nearly four decades, and the system is still going strong! 💪

It’s a fantastic reminder of how far security technology has progressed over the years, and a real piece of nostalgia for Rick. Even better, we’re still carrying out its annual servicing to help keep it working as it should.

In fact, we believe this may now be the only Scantronic system of its age that we still service!

With over 40 years of experience, we’ve seen security technology evolve first-hand. From the systems we installed decades ago to the latest security solutions available today, our commitment to looking after our customers hasn’t changed.

Old technology, incredible longevity, and a little piece of our history. ❤️

🔒 ENHANCED PERIMETER PROTECTION FOR AN EQUESTRIAN PROPERTY 🐴

Last week, we returned to one of our clients’ equestrian sites to enhance their existing security following reports of unwanted visitors around the property.

The site already benefits from a fully comprehensive Ajax alarm system and electric entrance gates, with an additional set of electric gates ordered to further strengthen security.

To provide an extra layer of protection, we installed two Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor detectors, creating two 30-metre infrared detection barriers around key areas of the site.

🔹 Entrance Protection: One detector was installed at the front of the property, covering the existing sliding gate and the proposed additional entrance.

🔹 Stable Protection: The second detector was positioned across the front of the stables, creating another 30-metre infrared detection barrier.

🔹 Visual Verification: We also repositioned an existing external photo PIR detector directly in front of the garages, providing visual verification of activity on site.

✅ SMART SECURITY THAT WORKS AROUND YOU

One of the major advantages of the Ajax system is its flexible group settings, allowing external detectors to be armed independently of the rest of the alarm system.

This means multiple external detectors can be configured to create a protective perimeter around your property, while allowing you to remain inside with your internal alarm settings tailored to your needs.

Whether you’re at home, working on site or settling down for the evening, you can have the added reassurance of receiving an alert if an unauthorised person breaches your protected perimeter.

At OneStop Security Systems Ltd, we believe effective security is about more than simply installing an alarm. It’s about designing a system around your property, your lifestyle and your individual security requirements.

Recently, we completed the installation of a double leaf composite bow top gate, upgrading the customer’s previous wooden five-bar farm-style gate.

The system features underground Nice motors, providing a discreet and reliable automation solution. A GSM call button has also been installed, enabling seamless communication—when pressed, it connects directly to the customer’s mobile phones, allowing for two-way conversation and remote gate operation from anywhere.

The installation is finished with a sleek satin black powder-coated frame, complemented by charcoal composite boarding for a modern and durable finish.
