Some blinds work much harder than they look.

Luxaflex® Duette® is a great example.

Beautiful curtains deserve the right track behind them.

It's an element of the finished room you may barely notice — which is often exactly the point.

We work with Silent Gliss curtain systems for smooth, discreet operation, including motorised options for larger or harder-to-reach windows.

There are also solutions for curved installations and recessed tracks where you want the curtains to appear to fall almost directly from the ceiling.

You don’t always need to redesign the whole room to make it feel completely different.

Sometimes, one carefully chosen change is all it takes. It could be:

Another scorching day in Lincolnshire – and summer 2026 is certainly making us think differently about shade. ☀️🌡️

Lincoln is forecast to reach around 32°C today, with even hotter conditions expected across parts of the country as the week continues.

More significantly, the Met Office says summer 2026 is increasingly likely to become the UK’s warmest on record.

And while we can hope next summer might feel a little kinder, the longer-term trend is towards hotter UK summers and more frequent periods of extreme heat.

So perhaps it's time to think about blinds and awnings as part of how we make our homes comfortable – not simply how we decorate them.
