Delighted to confirm this traditional new build 4 bed family home, nestled within the Lincolnshire countryside has just been submitted for planning.

Our client engaged us to secure permission for an additional dwelling on their sizable plot.

Detailed with influences from the existing property, this new dwelling is strategically positioned to the rear of the plot, making way for a sweeping driveway from the existing entrance.

The primary facing material is natural Ancaster stone, finished with cut stone quoins at the corners. The addition of the ground floor bay windows amplify the design’s distinctiveness. Orange clay pantiles and simple eave detailing tops off the roof.

The design reinforces sustainable development by integrating a host of features such as air source heat pumps, solar pv panels and rainwater harvesting systems.

Manor Farm Court is a bespoke development of six farmhouse and barn-style dwellings in the Warwickshire village of Burton Hastings. Developed closely with the local authority’s planning officer, the design involves the conversion of a derelict barn and the creation of new build homes in place of the old agricultural sheds. The homes follow a flexible, open plan layout and each of the barn-style homes features an oak staircase and galleried landing to make a statement upon arrival. Black timber cladding with a red brick plinth is used to mirror local vernacular materials and elevations are brought to life with full height barn-door glazing.

Construction due to start on site soon.

Tolson's Mill in Tamworth is a derelict Grade-II listed five-storey former textile factory dating back to 1883. The home of "red tape" it was for many years the centre of production for the fabric red tape used to bind legal documents. The mill is currently being brought back to life as 51 apartments and works are progressing well on site.

The annex building will be converted into a further 11 townhouses.

MDA are delivering some of the interior design packages for this exciting mill conversion. We have also rationalised the internal apartment and townhouse layouts to offer more efficient use of the space between the existing cast iron structure.
