Research recently commissioned by NICEIC shows 22% of homeowners haven’t had their electrics checked in over a decade.

An electrical check, known as an EICR, is an essential MOT for the home; helping to spot issues early and keeping people safe.

In privately owned homes, it is recommended an EICR is carried out at least every 10 years, and in rented properties it is a legal requirement to have one at least every 5 years.

The guidance is simple, prioritise the safety of your home by getting your installations checked by a NICEIC-registered electrician.

Absolutely couldn't agree more.
The price is about right, but the quality of work there is not.
Always check that the installer is registered with either Napit or the NICEIC. These are the regulatory electrical equivalents of Gas Safe.
