Will the garden ever go green again? 😲
Yes, it will - Nature is miraculous (but may need a helping hand).
Firstly - DON'T PANIC! My next tip would be to prioritise any evergreen plants - give them a very generous and deep watering from the watering can (rainwater if you have any collected). Next, any plants in pots - again, a deep, generous soak until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. If possible, move potted plants out of direct sun while they recover. Deciduous plants, whether trees, shrubs or herbaceous are usually more resilient and should recover naturally for next season - so be patient. Lawn grass will also recover on its own - once it rains... 🤞The generally agreed advice is not to feed any plants that are evidently suffering with wilt or burnt foliage etc. Wait until there are signs of active growth again.
