Busy morning for the sanders getting all this sanded back ready for painting. It was definitely a headphones in a crack on kind of morning. Need to re stock on sanding pads now though.

Decorating a new build after the site painters attempted to have a go. Sprayed badly with uneven fan pattern. Arching like anything whilst spraying so thick in areas and ultra thin in others. No sanding done whatsoever. They have attempted to fill but again not sanded after. Doesn’t help the 1 coat of plaster thrown on the ceiling and walls from next door by the looks of it . Woodwork has been fitted well. Not painted well though. Almost every nail hole missed. Caulked failing straight away (caulked before priming). A lot of bits in the paint as well. Yet these houses arnt cheap to buy and this is finish they think is acceptable.

Recently completed exterior windows to the flat above Hannah | Ivison Florist in Lichfield city centre. Removed all flaking paint, sanded back. Made some small repairs using hardwood and resin. Primed, sanded, filled, primed again, sanded again, undercoated, sanded again and top coated in exterior gloss.

Beautiful Sanderson wallpaper hung this morning. Which brings this room and this phase of the job to a close. Onto the next phase in the coming weeks & months on this project.

After lots of sanding, prep and 4 coats on the panelling. 3 coats of white on the ceiling. This bathroom was finished. As much as we all liked the existing blue colour. Customers felt it was too dark in a bathroom. That combined with the creamy coloured ceiling. Customers chose F&B Ammonite for panelling to brighten it up a bit.

Re Decoration of a newly fitted bathroom. Jon carried out the work on this one. Having someone I can trust working along side me is brilliant. New plaster on the ceiling and walls. New woodwork fitted. All primed correctly and only using moisture resistant paint. First area of many, 3 bathrooms completed. Back in May & June to re decorate the bedrooms. Customers also booked in for July for further decorating work after other works have taken place. #

As part of a full kitchen redecoration we completed earlier this year. We hung this Graham & Brown wall Mural. Which just finishes off the area so well. Draws your eyes straight to it when you walk through the door. After some absolute nightmares with wall Murals in the past. That were not up to standard to be toilet paper let alone a mural. This was an absolute pleasure to hang.
