✨ A little refresh can make a big difference! ✨

Today we replaced our customer’s old, tired bath tap with a brand-new tap set in the same classic style. 🛁

The design hasn’t changed, but the difference is huge. The fresh chrome and beautiful finish have brought the whole set-up back to life. 👌

It just goes to show that sometimes you don’t need to change everything. Replace the tired bits, keep what works, and give it a fresh lease of life.

That was a scary one! 😳💨

We were called out to a property after the customer noticed a strong smell of gas coming from the garage.

We carried out our checks on the natural gas supply from the meter, and everything was completely safe with no leaks found on the gas installation.

However, with the gas supply isolated, we could still smell a very strong smell of gas.

After searching the garage, we found the culprit… a butane gas cartridge that was leaking heavily into the property. 😳

Thankfully, this was caught before something much more serious happened.

We immediately ventilated the property and safely removed the leaking cartridge so it could be disposed of correctly.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: If you’re using portable gas cartridges, always disconnect the cartridge from the appliance when it isn’t being used, and store cartridges safely according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

This was a very lucky escape and a good reminder that not every gas smell comes from the mains gas installation.

If you ever smell gas and aren’t sure where it’s coming from, don’t take any chances. Get it checked. 🔥

🔥 35SQM OF UNDERFLOOR HEATING = ONE VERY TOASTY FLOOR! 🔥

Today we’ve been getting our green fingers out… 🌱😂

We’ve installed 35sqm of underfloor heating, carefully laid out to give this space lovely, even heat from the floor up.

No radiators taking up wall space.
No cold corners.
Just 35 square metres of future warm feet! 🦶🔥

Every loop has been positioned and clipped down ready for the next stage of the build, and we’ve made sure the pipework is laid out properly to give the system the best possible performance.

Another job done to the Eco-Tek standard 👌🏻

Now all we need is the floor finished so we can put the heating to the ultimate test… preferably with our socks on! 😂🔥

Out with the old and in with a brand new Vaillant ecoTEC Plus, complete with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty for complete peace of mind. ✅

This wasn’t just a straightforward boiler swap. The existing boiler was awkwardly positioned, making servicing and maintenance difficult, so we repositioned the new boiler to create much better access for future servicing and any repairs.
