Happy New Year to everyone!

We have something spectacular to share with you!

AMS Cladding have recently completed the stunning wall cladding works on Vault – the new Preston Youth Zone based opposite the bus station in Preston City Centre. This state-of-the-art youth centre will provide young people with opportunities to engage in activities, helping them to develop their skills and reach their full potential.

The wall systems feature a rainscreen system using Euroclad, Rainspan 1200mm Module Composite Wall Panel and Etex Rainscreen Cladding System, comprising 8mm thick Equitone Tectiva & Linea A2 Certified Fibre Cement Panels, on a Nvelope Secret Fix Subframe, into Euroclad Rainspan Carrier Panel.

A contrasting yellow Proteus Metal Mesh Screen Cladding System was installed to appeal to the target audience.

LIDL SUPERMARKET – BURNLEY

AMS Cladding have recently completed a new Lidl Supermarket Construction Project on Manchester Road in Burnley.

The site had housed the former Reel Cinema since 1997, which was demolished to make way for the 1300sqm supermarket.

Our system comprised of Lidl specification ArcelorMittal Pflaum Wall Panels, Hairexcel Coated Steel Outer Sheet, Hairplus Coated Steel Liner, and 180mm thick Mineral Wool Insulation Core to achieve a 0.25 U Value. The roof was made from ArcelorMittal Ondatherm Trapezoidal Composite Roof Panels, Hairexcel Coated Steel Outer Sheet, Hairplus Coated Steel Liner, and 140mm thick LPCB PIR Insulation Core to achieve a 0.16 U Value.

Xaverian College – Manchester

Xaverian College in Manchester demolished their Sunbury Building, which dates back to the 1840’s, to make way for a new state-of-the-art science hub, providing new labs and facilities for over 1000 students at their prestigious site in Rusholme.

AMS Cladding installed a decorative Anodic Bronze plant screen rainscreen facade around the top of the building to cover an array of solar panels and plant. Bronze window spandrels were also installed to provide a modern aesthetic that contrasts perfectly with the sandstone and white brickwork.

AMS are currently working on an overcladding project of approx. 2,500m2 for Denbigh NHS.

Progress on site is ahead of schedule and we are hoping to complete within the next 2 weeks.

Sheets supplied by Capital Coated Steel. 32/1000 profile, 0.7mm thick steel, plastisol coated.
Bar & bracket system used supplied by Fixing Point.
Insulation supplied by Tyne Insulation Supplies Limited. 240mm thick fibreglass quilt insulation.
Vapour control layer (VCL) supplied by Tyne Insulation Supplies Limited.
Gutters re-lined with new single ply membrane metal gutters supplied by Fatra.

Central Lancaster High School

We are very proud to have now completed our works on Central Lancaster High School’s new £8 million Ashton Building with Collinson Construction.

Following the demolition of the old multi-storey building that has housed classrooms for over 30 years; the new building houses classrooms for English and Maths, in addition to a library, art labs, science labs, design tech workshops and a computer suite.

Our work system comprised of stylish blue and grey Eurobrick Systems Limited rockpanel durable rainscreen panels, along with sandstone Eurobrick Systems Limited brick slip rainscreen panels to create a modern looking building that blends in perfectly with the environment.

STRAWBERRY FIELDS - CHORLEY

As part of the Strawberry Fields development in Chorley, AMS have installed roof and wall cladding on two warehouses with a combined internal space of 2093 m2 / 22534 sq ft!

Both buildings feature a visually impressive front aspect with brickwork and two tonnes of micro-ribbed Building Systems UK Tata Trimapanel at 90mm.

For the sides and rear loading bay walls of the warehouses, we installed Building Systems UK Tata Trisomet 333 cladding at 80mm.
The buildings are finished with a 120mm Building Systems UK Tata Trisomet 333 roof installation, providing an abundance of natural light from the Brett Martin Rooflights.
