The final part of this driveway and front garden transformation!✅

The driveway and garden path was prepped for tarmac which was installed by Shilo surfaces and freshly laid turf on the garden has finished it off perfectly, supplied by RHF🪏

Drainage diversion completed 👍🏼

Existing sewer pipe runs straight through the the foundations of the new build so they have to be moved.

Four large manholes had to be placed & formed to accommodate the new sewer pipe that now diverts around the foundations.

The corner bends are calculated to allow full flow this keeps the sewer working correctly. The manhole also allows access to the pipe to rod any blockages keeping the system working.

The half way stage 🪏⏳

This customer wanted to add some steps to allow easy access to their front door, sleepers were used to create these which resulted in a sturdy set of steps.

Sleepers were also added onto the opposite side to create a solid edge to separate the neighbouring hedgerow.

Next on the list was to install a single edge of granite sets to form a border where the tarmac would sit flush to.

🪏Driveway and Garden Transformation Pending!🪏

This customer wanted to update their front garden and widen their driveway. They had an overgrown rockery garden that needed clearing, making room for a garden path and a freshly turfed lawn area.

These photos show the first stages of the project, clearing the top garden and stripping the driveway with the digger leaving it level and neat. 30 tonne was dug off the front and collected by Burt Wesley & Sons Ltd GRAB HIRE.

Huge front lawn levelled out & landscaped!

Customer has been having issues with their robotic lawn mower getting stuck on the grass ledge.

We used the mini digger to scrape off the sod, cut and fill a 2-3 meter strip right the way along the ledge to create a level surface.

Then we rotated the ground with the compact tractor and have seeded the area which is growing nicely.

Happy customer and a happier robot!

What a hugely exciting project HTWalsh has been asked to be part of!

The digital plans of the house is the goal but firstly all of the ground preparation has to be done!

I stripped over 200 tonnes of earth from the area which was the first step to get this project up and running quickly.

Next up is a drain diversion, footings and the landscaping of the garden and driveway. Keep your eyes peeled for future updates, it’s not one to be missed!
