🌟 Heritage Roofing UK Roofing Awards 2026 Finalist– All Saints Church 🌟

All Saints Church is a Grade II* listed building with origins dating back to the early 15th century, constructed between 1417 and 1430. Over time, the south porch roof had deteriorated significantly, with the original Horsham stone slate fixings failing. This resulted in displaced slates, creating a potential hazard for pedestrians below.
The project involved the careful removal of the existing roof coverings, with all salvaged Horsham stone slates meticulously set aside for re-use. New oak battens were installed to provide a robust framework, and the original stone slates were reinstated to preserve the historic character and integrity of the structure.
The church is set into a steep hillside, with no direct vehicular access to the site. All materials, tools, and equipment had to be manually transported via a long flight of steps leading up to the church. This required careful logistical planning and additional labour to ensure safe and efficient delivery of materials without compromising the fabric of the historic setting.

🥇 15 YEARS OF OUTSTANDING HEALTH AND SAFETY 🥇
This week, not only have we been shortlisted at the 2026 UK Roofing Awards, in two separate categories but we have also been awarded the Gold award for Health & Safety in the NFRC Roofing Awards 2025!
We have also received a special mention for being one of only 12 companies in the judges opinion, that went above and beyond!
This is now the 15th consecutive year we have won the Gold Award!

We are proud to announce we have been shortlisted in two catergories, for the upcoming UK Roofing Awards.

Our work at All Saints C of E Church has been shortlisted in the Heritage Roofing catergory and our project at Ferry Footbridge Control Tower, has been shortlisted for 'Project under £25k'.
