🏠 New roof completed in Upper Largo...

This roof was stripped back to the rafters
- covered with sheets of OSB
- Deepflow guttering
- felt support trays
- counterbattens and tiles battens
- fibreglass bonding gutters tying the two properties back together
- Sandtoft double pantile with verge tiles
- inline vent tiles front and back
- Sandtoft ridge tiles

All complete in a day and half 👷🔨

Flat roofing 🏠

Job 1:
A rubber flat roof failed so we removed the slates stripped everything back to the deck and started again.

Job 2:
An old zinc bay window had perished and was leaking so off it came and a new charcoal mineral felt roof installed with black pvc gutter.

Storm Amy caused destruction to this roof and the house's interior.

After the tree surgeons removed the tree from the roof we started the task of restoring the roof's structure:
- stripped the roof right back
- repaired the damaged timbers
- covered the roof back in with sarking and roofshield
- fitted new lead work
- retiled the roof using the existing tiles
- plastered walls and ceilings inside - thanks to Dougie Hughes for the joinery work 😁

- tiled roof using new rosemary plain tile
- installed new clay ridges with dry ridge system
- installed new cast iron gutters and lead flashing

Another reslating job wrapped up 💪

- The roof was stripped back any rotten timber replaced then covered with Roofshield.
- Lead bonding gutters to create a weathertight seal between the neighbouring property.
- New CUPA H3 slates and copper nails to replace the existing that were not fit to reuse.
- New cast iron gutters on the front and black pvc on the back.
- All cement skews removed and new lead flashings installed.
- 2 New veluxs to replace the existing.
- Finished off with a new zinc ridge.
