📌Tumble Dryer Legislation Change

From 19 January 2027, new energy-efficiency standards will apply to tumble dryers sold in Great Britain.

Under these new requirements, traditional vented and condenser tumble dryers will generally no longer meet the required efficiency standards, meaning new stock of these types will no longer be placed on the market.

Heat pump tumble dryers will become the main option, offering improved energy efficiency and lower energy consumption.

What about existing stock?
Vented and condenser tumble dryers already placed on the market before 19 January 2027 can still be sold while stocks last.

You may therefore still see these models available after January 2027, but once existing stocks are gone, they will not be replaced.
