What a journey this commission went through!
Thanks for Patrick for introducing Callum to me and passing on this awesome commission.
Callum is a hard working men with eyes for quality and appreciation for details.
Thanks man for your trust.
Enjoy every meal at that dining table and all the last drop of whisky next to your coffee tables.
All my love for nature and woodwork is in these peaces.

The tops are made of high quality kiln dried burry oak from from Patrick.
I used resin for the rivers and fillings.
The legs are from the same timber from same place and made by a good friend of mine .

What a weekend at the craft fair! Met so many lovely local and tourists and had a great time to chat away with them. Glad to see so many local craft woman and man.
Thanks for Shetland Arts & Crafts Association to organise this awesome event.
I wanted to thank everyone who bought anything there from anyone and that way supporting local businesses.

My dad gave me two old coffee brewer, the ones what I always admired every morning when I catch him making the morning refreshing liquid. I was so tyne my head was the same hight as the mighty device, so I could observe it really accurately.
After almost 40 years this aluminium creation gave me pure black juice what I had this morning. My memories just sparkling at the moment about my childhood.
I always been a really fast thinking and working man so,
to slow down and just watch and listen is soul healing sometimes.
(At leat for me)

Managed to put this center panel in that antique dining table finally.
Lovely couple found me at the last year's XMAS craft fair and said:
Hey Pete, we have an old extension table and we don't have the insert panel. We knew, we never going to find the original panel for it, so could you make one with the river in it?
I said I would be happy to help.
I got a really nice piece of high quality kiln dried ash from which turned out as a book-matched.
I'm happy about the result so as the clients.

Being an instructor at the local high school is slow me down a bit but because of the Easter holidays I can get more things done.
This project will be a part of an existing furniture.
I will show you more about it soon.
First coat of many but I can see it better now.
