CHS Services (Electricians of Distinction) are Leighton Buzzards longest established electrical contractors, established by my Father Anthony in 1961 it is now run by me-Matthew Barnett-Vincent. We work with both domestic and commercial clients from our office in Leighton Buzzard and satellite office in Harrold, North Bedfordshire. CHS have a specialist highly experienced team who deal with rural

and agricultural properties throughout Beds,Bucks,Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Hertfordshire, we offer bespoke electrical services from an extra socket for domestic customers to 3 phase power distribution for commercial clients. All works are carried out to the latest electrical regulations with great attention to detail in terms of both installation and documentation. We adopt a partnering and non-adversarial approach to the needs of our clients, with business being conducted in a modest, open and honest way, our strength lies in our ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, indeed we have numerous clients where the relationship stretches back decades. We are as a company: Registered Competent Person- Electrical (NICEIC) which is the latest standard for electricians. We do not charge a separate call out fee and our charges are both transparent and fair, we look forward to meeting you.

A local garden lighting job. These are fairly straightforward to do but I come across plenty that last 6-12 months and then start causing problems.

I started when I was a “Young old boy” not so young anymore but still a “Good old boy” 😀 with over 30 years experience!!

When I was young if you needed a job doing my dad Tony who formed CHS would often be found on a Tuesday (if you know you know) in town and would come back with a list of appointments in his notebook.

He moved on to Fax, a pager and a mobile like a brick in the 80’s. His picture is still on the wall of his “office” in the Globe- a place where a lot of business was done 🤝

✅ We have a tried and tested method of simplifying the (normally) over complicated time controls for easy use by non-technically trained persons which can generally be installed to existing installations.
