🐜Why Ants Suddenly Appear in Kitchens in Spring??

As temperatures rise in spring, ants become much more active and start searching for food and water. Kitchens are one of the first places they target because of crumbs, sugary foods, pet food, and moisture.

Once a few ants find a food source, they leave a scent trail for the rest of the colony to follow — which is why you suddenly start seeing lines of ants appearing out of nowhere.

Common things attracting ants:

* Crumbs on floors and worktops
* Sugary drinks or fruit
* Pet food bowls
* Damp areas near sinks
* Open food containers

Quick tips to reduce ant activity:

✔ Wipe down surfaces regularly
✔ Store food in sealed containers
✔ Empty bins frequently
✔ Fix leaking taps or damp areas
✔ Seal small gaps around doors and windows

If ants keep returning, there may be a nest nearby that needs professional treatment.
