A month ago we saw a spotted post where a gent was explaining how his vulnerable, elderly neighbour had been approached by rogue roofers!
They had knocked her door & told her she had 3 “tiles” that were missing and offered to replace them at an extortionate cost. Luckily for her, her neighbour stepped in.
In truth, these “roofers” had removed the ridge tiles before knocking her door!
We weren’t having that! Between our other jobs we sent our man, Dave to help her out. We didn’t charge her a penny, it didn’t take long & we had the materials on hand (good job as we were only made aware after we’d said we’d help, not long before we were to attend that they were ridge tiles 😅). All we asked for in return was a Google review. Unfortunately that never transpired so now we’re left to blow our own trumpet 🤣 Here’s a pic of her re-set ridge tiles 😊
