Our Showroom will be closed on Saturday, 15th August, as we are away on Holiday!

👏🏻So, we will go to extraordinarily lengths to ensure an installation for a customer stays on track!

Today, after our supplier provided a cill for a window on an installation that was cut too short, our office team made it their mission to source a replacement. When that couldn’t come from our existing supplier in time, we rang around other providers in the hope that they might just have one.

Thanks to the amazing team over in Shrewsbury, who said they had one and that we could collect first thing this morning, we put a plan of action in place.

Mario, set off on his way to collect nice and early, and get it onto site this morning so the installation could continue 💪🏻

Fuelled by a McDonald’s breakfast, and a few tunes 📻 Mario made it back to Quorn, Leicestershire by 9.30am this morning.

Team work makes the dream work! 🙌🏻🪟🚪

Come and see a bit more behind the scenes, at our full house installation over in Knighton, Leicester.

A combination of timber alternative windows. .uk aluminium windows to the back of the property, and sliding doors.

The install should be completed this week, so keep posted for the final results.

📹Get behind the scenes with Mario at Kettell!

Mario has volunteered (turns out he is a natural) to start showing you what we are upto on site and how we do things.

This current remodel of a home in central Leicester is an amazing project to be a part of.

We have already been and installed some of the Aluminium items, including an OS-29 Sliding door, and now we are back to install the Storm 2 Timber Alternative Windows, a firm favourite of John Kettell.

We will keep you updated with further progress as we go!

✨Glow Up ✨

We were discussing the with a customer this week, and it reminded me of this install, earlier this year in the village of Somerby, Leicestershire.

The assignment: To put back the character to this amazing property, and to help the owners start to bring the building back to life.
There was a LOT to do, and the teams capabilities, beyond window installation were needed, from plastering to carpentry, but what a result 👏🏻

The windows chosen, were Roseview Ultimate Rose Vertical Sliders, chosen in Pebble Grey externally, and foiled white inside. Completed with an Emperor sash horn, Gold fixings and as ever, concealed trickle vents.

I think we need to make a return visit to see how the renovations have continued and to see if it’s time for the remaining event, of a new front 🚪🙂

Sometimes to educate you have to call stuff out. Often we get told that a customer has found the job cheaper, or that a company can do the install quicker. But sadly, often there is a reason for this.
Now of course, we aren’t perfect, and at times we can get things wrong, after all, our homes are all different and every job is unique, with its own challenges. But as we struggle to recruit high quality, competent members to our team we choose not to compromise or drop our standards.

So, to the untrained eye, you might see a nice new door, but here’s what we see…. Small elements, but they can make all the difference and all possible for others to do.
