On site salt testing for rising damp,a damp meter will beep at any dampness and there’s 3, rising damp, penetrating damp, condensation. picture below is positive for rising damp.If your working on a refurbishment or just concerned with the walls within a new property please feel free to give us a call and we can arrange a so Test. The only downside is I have to remove a teaspoon of plaster.

Woodworm inspection to a timber suspended floor, common furniture, beetle and some wood boring weevil 🪲🐛 have made home and destroyed the joist,it’s important to get access to the floor underneath and poke the timbers to ascertain what condition they’re in in this case chemical treatment is pointless and the floor should be replaced,always get a survey never just a quote, we are happy to help even if it’s just a survey you require please feel free to message text or call.
