🏭 Industrial install — metalworking factory, Sileby!
With gas prices continuing to rise, businesses can’t afford to be heating empty buildings. We were called in to bring smart control and safe isolation to this busy metalworking and machinery factory — and that’s exactly what we delivered.
Here’s what we installed:
🌡️ Hive smart thermostat — now controlling the site’s kerosene warm air heater with full remote temperature control and scheduling from a phone or app
🔴 New 4-pole isolator in a surface-mounted enclosure — providing a compliant, local means of isolation for the heater circuit
✅ Full system tested and confirmed working correctly on completion
The client can now schedule heating around their working hours, monitor usage, and avoid running the heater overnight or through weekends. In an industrial unit this size, that’s a meaningful saving every single month.
