One of the first questions we ask every new customer isn't about colour or finish, it's whether a sliding or a swing gate actually suits their driveway.

Both do the same job, but the right choice comes down to your space:

🔸 Swing gates suit driveways with plenty of room in front, and often give the more traditional look
🔸 Sliding gates are the better option for sloped drives or where space is tight
🔸 Sliding gates keep the full width of the driveway clear when open, useful for parking right up to the gate
🔸 Swing gates are usually the simpler mechanism to maintain long term

We've recently completed the installation of a new automated gate system for one of our customers, delivering a secure, reliable and great-looking entrance that's built to last.

There's something particularly rewarding about being asked back to work with an existing customer again, this time to provide the automated entrance for their new build property.

For this project, we installed a fully automated aluminium sliding gate, powered by the BFT Ares Sliding Gate System for smooth, reliable operation.

To make access simple and secure, the system is operated using:

- Remote controls for everyday convenience

- An Optimus GSM audio intercom system, allowing visitors to be managed remotely
