This is why it’s important to have regular test/inspection done on your home electrics!

This was found on a recent check! Luckily no harm was done but could have been a different story especially because it turned out that the fault protection device (RCD) wasn’t working correctly and sticking!! Further more it wasn’t even wired to protect anything other than the socket circuit!

The test button should be pressed 6 monthly to ensure that it still operates correctly, takes seconds to do!
