🚨 In two weeks time Bateson Plumbing and Heating will be closed for business. I have been a sole trader for the past 3 years, and thank all of our customers for a great experience along the ride.

But I have accepted a new job role I can’t refuse, that will comfortably support myself, and my family, with great benefits included, which will be rounded off at the end of this year when I marry my beautiful partner.

Thank you to all customers over the years for passing on the name/number and recommending myself to everybody. This was only going to be temporary when I started shortly before the birth of my boy. But as he is now in education I can now put my career back on path.

🚨 Emergency Repair today, Yorkshire Water now refusing to come out and isolate water. I advise you to check your Stop Taps are working.

Leak from a cold pipe today, the old stop tap wouldn’t turn off causing damage to the bathroom floor and ceiling below. I had to freeze the 15mm pipe in order to fit a new working stop tap on the line.

Check your taps today to avoid devastation 💦

🆘 Emergency Call Out at 11pm, nail has been embedded into the central heating pipe upstairs for upwards of 10 years. It’s taken that long for somebody in the home to stand in that exact spot to release the nail and flood through the ceiling.

Thank fully this customer was sat in the living room below and hadn’t yet gone to bed otherwise this could have been much much worse.

Section of pipe cut out and replaced, system drained down and filled back up and tested within the hour.
