CONTRACT SECURED AND STARTED AT DEWSBURY DISTRICT HOSPITAL!!!

In the later months of 2018 we secured a Contract with Walter West Builders Ltd to carry out the Mechanical & Electrcal Services Installation for the Refurbishment of Wards 12 & 14.

The nature of the job is very delicate due to the surroundings. We aim to cause little to no disruption of the rest of the Wards during our time on site there.

The Project involves major works, including New Ductwork to the New Ventilation & Air Conditioning Systems, Re-Routing Pipework to suit, Re-Wiring of Cat6 Data, Installation of New Lighting/Emergency Lighting Systems, New BedHead Trunking & Nurse Call along with New Access Controls to each Ward and the Extension of the Fire Alarm to suit the new Layouts. A New Plant Room is being built to supply these services and will involve the installation of New Air Handling Units. We will also be lifting New Chillers onto the Roof.

The contract ends in June and we will keep you posted on updates and progress of the works.

M&E Leeds are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager. This will be based within the Head Office (Leeds) Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.

You will be required to Carry out the Management of Project Progression and Project Costs & Extra Works. The role is of a Commercial Level. You will be expected to Communicate and Co-Ordinate with our own Contract Managers, Clients & Sub-Contractors
