Here’s another roof completed by the team a while back. The roof had previously been done by another contractor, but the work had to be fully stripped and redone correctly. We managed to reuse around 90% of the existing tiles and carefully matched in the rest so everything blended in properly. The roof was only 6 months old before it needed redoing, which shows how important it is to have the job done right the first time. Here’s one we completed a while back for a client who had previously been let down by poor workmanship. We stripped the roof back, reused as many of the existing tiles as possible, and installed the roof correctly from the ground up. The result is a roof that is now fully watertight, built to last, and looking how it should have from the start. Most importantly, one very happy client with no more leaks to worry about.

New ridge and a freshly slated diamond now in place, and the roof is really starting to come together just as we knew it would. We’ve installed a clay dry ridge system on this project. While it is a little more expensive than concrete, it removes the need for visible plastic joints and provides a far superior, traditional finish. The angled ridge caps help maintain the character of the roof while delivering modern performance and durability. Quality details always make the difference, and this one is going to look amazing once complete.

Fresh felt installed and new battens going down on the roof as the team continues to push this project forward. We haven’t fully battened the lower section just yet, as the gulley system still needs to be completed first, ensuring everything drains exactly as it should. Here’s a sneak preview of the slated diamond at the front of the building, a detail that will really help set this roof apart once everything is finished. Progress is looking great and we’re excited to see it all come together.

Here you can see the old lead valley removed and the new one being carefully installed.
Beneath the lead, we install building paper to allow the lead to move freely and to help prevent oxidation on the underside, which is a common reason older lead valleys fail over time.

Although this type of failure can take 20 years or more to show and would be well beyond any guarantee period, we don’t believe in cutting corners. Our aim is for every roof we work on to last a lifetime.
This level of workmanship is the standard we apply to every single roof we work on.
