Team Ryedale Interiors Xmas night out at the Royal Armouries in Leeds last night. A few sore heads this morning! Great fun night out for an amazing team. Well done guys, looking forward to another year creating beautiful spaces for amazing clients.

Mark, one of our skilled mould makers, setting down an ornate radius ceiling moulding. Original pattern taken by a silicone squeeze from an existing onsite feature, all decoration re sculpted, new silicone mould taken and all new casts manufactured.
This is a small part of the project at The Old War Offices in London.

Job we are presently carrying out in Liverpool. Weeks of work to get this mould to this stage, from a box of bits taken from site, our guys painstakingly recreated the feature, before pouring a silicone rubber mould and casting this. Think it’s turned out rather well!

Super proud to win the Gold Award for Fibrous & GRG at the FIS awards in London yesterday. Really proud of the team who delivered it, especially Joe Markey. The £1.75M project was 18 months of pleasure, pain, stress and joy - this award further seals our position in this ultra specialist sector. Thanks also to Vinci Construction for being an amazing client to work for.

Wow, this is pretty cool and I'll bet these are commonplace wandering around sites within 5 years. The obvious danger with these - is the "lads" who will try trip it up or make it fall down holes etc

Visited one of our live sites in Birmingham today where two of our skilled fixers, Barry & Stuart, were installing some 1100mm diameter GRG half column casings. The casts are screwed to a light weight frame before being jointed up smooth, ready for painting.

Two of our skilled Fibrous Plasterers, John & Chris, spinning a 1200mm diameter plaster mould in the workshop today. We will be casting a number of internal circular window surrounds. The best way to get a ‘perfect’ circle on interior dry linings is to incorporate a GRG element.

The GRG works are progressing well on the new Channel 4 HQ at The Majestic in Leeds for Sir Robert McAlpine. All site works are being carried out under stricter H & S systems due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but it's good to finally get producing again.
