This was supposed to be a straight forward update on a old tired alarm, with a couple of extra detectors to replace the old internal door contacts…
But after stripping the old system out it was clear this system hadn’t worked for years , unbeknown to the customer the only thing that worked on the existing detectors were the red lights , the cables themselves were either twisted together in the detector or the cables didn’t go back to the control panel at all…
Detectors fixed to the wall with staples

Full rewire of the new system so everything is correctly installed and can be guaranteed 👍
