New public access defibrillator installed by us on behalf of charitable organisation Public Access Defibrillators UK. The DeFib has been kindly given a home at Chai Shai King, Kellet Crescent, Wortley, LS12 4AQ.

If your business is interested in giving a home to a DeFib that's accessible to the public in an emergency please get in contact https://publicaccessdefibrillators.uk/ ... they cost less than £15 a year in electricity. This is required to run a tiny heater during cold spells to keep the cabinet at an ambient temperature to protect the equipment which is vulnerable to damage from frost as well as an led light for visibility ... A well worth while investment and worthy cause if it can save a life! We will even install the unit for free

Public access defibrillator installed this afternoon at Jug & Barrel in Stanningley on behalf of Public Access Defibrillators UK and it's founder Brian Firth. As with all the defibrillators we've installed they are accessible to the public should you need one ring 999 for access codes.

We have and will do our best to donate our time & materials to installing defibrillators that have been fundraised for within our city of Leeds ... if it can save even just one life we can't put a price on that!!! Huge thank you and well done to the hard working fundraisers giving up their free time & efforts to try save lives 🙏🏼👌🏼

Had an excellent trip to ROBUS Lighting in Dublin with EFIXX. Very interesting learning about their products and their ability to develop solutions for retrofitting LED into existing light fittings, fantastic where customers want to keep existing light fitting designs but have been unable to find LED equivalents! ... We may have sampled a Guinness or two as well, it's a legal requirement on a Dublin visit isn't it?! 🤣 Met some fantastic knowledgeable people too which made endless conversations of electrical geekery! Thank you for the hospitality team Robus & to the Efixx team for the opportunity

Two jobs today both involving halogen lamps & the damaged they can do. We cannot stress enough how dangerous these can be in terms of heat generation and fire risk, one of the main reasons they are now phased out & not easily available to buy. The MR16 low voltage being the worst offender not just because of the lamps but many of the transformers that sit in the ceiling also get a tad on the warm side & often aren't compatible with LED lamps to try decrease the heat output. If you have this style lamp we strongly advise you look to obtain a LED equivalent as it's really not worth the fire risk. Saturday fault finding in a customers recently purchased industrial unit. Should have a 3 phase supply but was previously running on a single phase only. Meter company refit a 3 phase meter still no 3 phase to the building. Isolator found hidden on opposite side of the distribution room 😳 nice bit of asbestos fuse lining to go with the open ends of two phases for an extra shocking time 🧐🧐

Friday Jo & Bryony had a little girls day out to the NEC in Birmingham for CEF Live 2025! Far too much time was spent geeking over lighting than was necessary 🤣 oh & Jo won a competition with EFIXX to visit the ROBUS Lighting head office & Dublin for a couple of days for even more lighting to geek out over ... possibly a Guinness or two also!!! p.s how ace are these Pink Fusebox consumer units 😍 They're not coming into production unfortunately 🤣, you can have the front wrapped though to suit your decor apparently!!

Sat the course last year and finally after months of chasing the certificate showed up! Just waiting on our Solar PV and Battery storage to arrive now 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway so we are qualified and competent in EV charging points, Solar PV and battery storage!!!
