Electrical Engineer
Working in a varied selection of domestic & commercial properties
Permanent, full time (37.1/2 hours per week Monday to Friday, with over time options)

Typical day as an Electrician
As a multi skilled Electrician, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
Testing and inspection, electrical installation and repairs
Delivering high-quality and compliant work.
Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes.
All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.
You have
City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations,
Electrical inspection and testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent (Would be desirable. However, NSM are committed to developing its workforce)
Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing and inspection.
Fault finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively.
A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
JIB/ECS Gold card (Desirable but NSM can help with obtaining this)
You have a full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
Job details
Main working hours are Monday to Friday with possibility of overtime.
Our main central office base is in Leeds and the wider team covers nationwide
You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
