We supplied and installed a 200L unvented cylinder in the existing cylinder position, delivering mains pressure hot water to all outlets - meaning the old shower pumps are no longer needed.

🔧 What we carried out:

1. Removed and decommissioned the additional cylinder
2. Linked all services to the new unvented system
3. Upgraded the set up for consistent high pressure performance
4. Identified the need to replace existing low-pressure digital showers with high-pressure compatible units
5. Installed a pressure relief discharge to a safe, durable location with audible detection for safety compliance

“This could have been much worse…”

Emergency callout this week to a property with a significant leak coming from a failed flexi connector on a toilet.

The connector had started to split, allowing water to escape steadily behind the toilet pan. Left unchecked, this type of leak can quickly lead to saturated flooring, damage to subfloor structures and hidden damp issues.

On arrival, the water supply was isolated immediately to prevent further damage. The faulty flexi connector was removed and replaced with a new, high-quality equivalent. All connections were rechecked and the system was pressure tested to confirm everything was sound before leaving site.

Toilet back in full working order, leak resolve and potential water damage avoided.

Small components like flexi hoses are often overlooked, but they’re a common failure point in domestic plumbing systems. Regular inspection can prevent situations like this escalating.
