🧱 SIDE GARAGE EXTENSION BUILD 🧱
This project added a new single-storey side garage extension, creating a substantial amount of extra storage and usable space while keeping the new structure in keeping with the existing property.
Works included:
🔨 Groundworks and new strip foundations
🧱 Brickwork matched to the existing property with internal blockwork supports
🏠 Traditional pitched and tiled roof to compliment the existing house
🪵 New structural roof timbers and purlins
📦 Raised storage space incorporated above the garage
🚪 New internal access formed from the house, including provision for a fire-rated door
🚗 New roller garage door
🌿 New rear patio doors providing direct access through to the garden (in readiness for our landscaping works)
🌧️ New fascias, soffits and guttering with alterations to the existing rainwater drainage
⚡ Works associated with relocating the existing electrical meter
🗑️ Excavation, waste removal and associated building works
A good example of how an extension doesn't always need to mean another living room or bigger kitchen. Here, the available space down the side of the property has been turned into a practical garage with access from the front, internally within the house and rear garden, while the pitched roof provides additional storage above.
